SUV Accidents
Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV’s) have always been questioned about their level of safety. Despite any questions about the safety of these vehicles, they have gained popularity and are now commonplace on our roadways. Safety issues still arise, though they do not often seem important to the manufactures and consumers.
The main concern about the safety of SUV’s is their rollover rate. They have the highest rollover rate of any vehicle on the market. According to the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration), SUV’s are three times more likely to rollover than any other car and there are twice as many deaths from SUV rollover accidents than any other vehicle.
